Beware of pedophiles!

Richard Huckle - the child predator who was finally caught in 2014, after nine years of committing the crimes.

His tactic was very simple: make use of his identity (which is an English teacher) and build trust with the vulnerable children.

This showed us it’s important for parents/guardians to become the child’s primary trust circle to prevent them from falling into the trap of predators.

Being in the primary trust circle can mean that you are in the right position to nurture the children in their growth and development; also, it is the right position to provide the children the different needs such as mental, physical, emotional and spiritual support.

Nevertheless, even though a parent could be in the primary trust circle, children might feel uncomfortable to confide their feelings with their parents for certain issues. Therefore, parents should always encourage their children to open up their heart and share their thoughts or feelings since they are young.
