Imagined how parents feel when their children are being exploited? Wondered how the terrible experience could be like when you put yourself in the victim's situation — being forced to do something unpleasant?
Light a Life: End Child Trafficking is an event under Child Development Psychology Club, a non-profit organization formed by a group of students in HELP University who are concerned about children’s well-being. This event involved a charity run, aiming to raise awareness on the seriousness of child trafficking and to mobilize communities to take a meaningful step to help protect the children. We need to acknowledge their existence in order to help them and prevent more loss of innocence.We are here to create a much needed awareness towards ending Child Trafficking, which is the aim of the formation of this event.
Children are gift from the Lord.
They are little angels who were sent to make the world even more beautiful.
Remember? We were once children.
We grew up safe and sound;
we went through ups and downs;
we tasted the sweets and bitters of the world,
and become who we are now.
Nonetheless, there are these ill doers who disrupt the lives of our angels, depriving their freedom.
Is this what the little angels should be deserved? Definitely NO.
And that's why we are here!
Since 2013 until present we are raising awareness about child trafficking issues. We want to let you know what's happening around you and hope to end the slavery.
Hence, on 3rd Mac 2018, we welcome you to join us, not merely come for exercising, but also run for a good cause.
